Marie S. Husband, 91, of Orange, beloved wife of Philip Husband, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on May 24, 2017.  Born on February 3, 1926 in Larksville, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Leona Roman Shaffer.  

Marie was an avid reader and loved a good crossword puzzle. She appreciated classical and modern day music especially selections by Pavarotti. Marie will be missed dearly by multiple nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Josephine Zofcin.

All services will be private. The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad Street Milford, CT 06460.
