The last time I saw him was at the genealogy group at Milford Library. Still going strong. The old neighborhood won't be the same. So sorry for your loss.

I met Cousin Lou only two times, but he was still an important influence to me. He was always engaging and interested in many things. We had pleasant email exchanges where he would send items of interest on science, technology, and current events. He was a man who really cared about his family, our world, and what is happening to it. My father, Joe Panker, loved him and talked about him a lot-Lou was a big part of my father's life. I feel honored and very lucky to have known him.

Lou Semento was a person who encouraged everyone around him to be their best self, and his loss is deeply felt. He was kind, selfless, progressive, witty, diplomatic, brilliant and wise. Although his talents were many, he was always humble despite his numerous contributions to society. Above all, he was a devoted and loving family man. I feel so lucky to have known him, and will never stop missing him or be the same without him.

Uncle Lou was hilarious, caring, thoughtful, loving and I consider myself lucky to be his niece. I'll miss him tremendously - both who he was as a person and what he brought to our family - and I'm sending everyone so much love right now. Xo Maria Cataldo
