Victoria Shery

Victoria Shery, of Orange, beloved wife of Peter Shery, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday August 22, 2019. Born on April 5, 1942 in Korce, Albania, she was the daughter of the late Mark and Angela Ghitsa.

She was a lead manager of 21 area Pepperidge Farm thrift stores for 32 years. Victoria was a devoted mother to her beloved son Greg “Sonicha” and daughter Linda. She loved gourmet cooking for her family and friends, loved dancing and traveling. Victoria was a warm and loving woman and will be missed by all.

She is survived by her husband Peter, son Gregory “Sonicha”, daughter Linda and beloved pride and joy parrots Pinky Winky, Roxy, Chewey, and Skippy. She is also survived by her brother Peter Ghitsa and her sister Domnica Shunda. As well as her nieces and nephews George and Elizabeth Ghitsa, George, Van and Angela Shunda.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at 11 a.m. at CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME 107 Broad Street Milford, CT 06460. Interment will follow at the Orange Center Cemetery, Orange, CT. A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday August 27, 2019 from 5 pm to 8 pm. at CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME 107 Broad Street Milford, CT 06460.
