Stanley J. Chaffin

Stanley J. Chaffin, 91, of Milford, beloved husband of the late June Louise Chaffin, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2019. Stanley was born on January 17, 1928 in Ayer, MA to the late Joseph and Hazel Chaffin. Stanley’s greatest pastime was flying, which he was able to do by working as a pilot for National Lead Company and Georgia Pacific. He also enjoyed riding his bike and watching UConn women’s basketball.

Stanley leaves behind his children, Robert Chaffin and his wife Debbie and Thomas Chaffin and his girlfriend Laurie Nichols; grandchildren, Cheryl Nethercott and her husband Brian and Lisa Gregory and her husband Mark; and great grandchildren, Tyler and Gavin Nethercott and Ryleigh and Jax Gregory.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. with a Funeral Service to commence at 12:30 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave., Milford, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Stanley’s name may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
