Priscilla Lozada-Stevens

July 20, 1955 ~ June 5, 2021 (age 65) 65 Years Old

Tribute

Priscilla Lozada-Stevens, 65, of Milford, passed away peacefully and entered eternal rest on June 5, 2021. Born on July 20, 1955 in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Christobal & Lydia Ortiz-Lozada. And predeceased by her Uncle Juan Lozada whom she loved dearly.

There was never a fight she shied away from or could not win. She was fighter and a winner, and she lived her life like that. Priscilla took life by the horns and rode it all the way to the top of the corporate ladder in finance. The impact she made on our lives, whether it be positive or negative she taught us all a lesson in one way other another. Priscilla was not only someone to go to if you needed someone in your corner, but she was also there if you just needed to talk. She was so loving and caring; her smile was so contagious it would light up the room.

If you needed anything she would always put your problems ahead of her own. That on its own has made her so special to everyone. The keen wit and unique sense of humor made her one of a kind.

I am sure we have all heard her say, “Yeah bitch, that was a triple” (Even though she knew a homerun was better). Or her famous “For fun, shits, and giggles.”  She loved her Yankees because she was a winner just like them, steam rolling anything her path. Plus, she always shared how stick ball was her favorite thing to do when she a kid. Then her, her sisters, and friends would take a dime or two and go get enough candy to rot their teeth.

Priscilla loved telling stories of all her accomplishments and life experiences traveling the world and going on cruises with her lifelong love, Bob.

What Priscilla loved the most was watching her boys play hockey. RJ and Alexander can still hear her yelling and swearing at us to move our feet. She always said she was happiest when we were on the ice because it made her so proud to see us excel at something she never did herself.

Priscilla leaves behind her sons, Robert James Stevens and Alexander; his wife Kathy Stevens; siblings, Margaret Acosta, Stephanie Lozada-Vasquez, and Miriam Perez. The nephew and niece, Noel Acosta, Jr. and Priscilla Soto as well as many more nieces and nephews. Lifelong best friend Maria Seaman and dear friend Eddie Pinto. And Mike Sheridan whom she loved talking about her NY Yankees with and was like a third son. As well as her four-legged friend, Brady (whom she treated like a fury grandchild); and many friends and extended family.

Family and friends may gather from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD ST., MILFORD.
