Peter M. Rembetsy Jr.

Peter M. Rembetsy, Jr, of Fairfield, Connecticut, beloved husband of Rosemary, passed away peacefully in the company of his family on June 29, 2022.  Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he was the son of Peter M. Rembetsy Sr. and the late Margaret Walsh Rembetsy. Because he knew how to do almost everything, he was a true renaissance man.  He loved all things outdoors and enjoyed sharing his knowledge with his children and grandchildren.  His passion for the arts was exceeded only by his love for his family.  

Peter is survived by his wife, Rosemary and his father, Peter M. Rembetsy, Sr.; his two sons, Michael (Susan) of Berkeley Heights NJ, and Jon (Annie) Rembetsy of Whispering Pines N.C.; and his seven grandchildren, Christopher, Bear, Tyler, Lily, Piper, Rowan and Stephen. 

Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 11:30 am at Saint Mary’s Church, 70 Gulf Street, Milford CT, followed by an interment at St Mary’s Cemetery on Buckingham Ave, Milford CT.
