Tribute

Michael P. Saracin, also known as "the little", passed away unexpectedly on March 17, 2024, at his home in Milford, CT. He was 56 years old. Mike was born on July 23, 1967, in Milford, CT, to Dorothy Viola Saracin and the late Richard Saracin.

For more than three decades, Mike poured his heart and soul into the nonprofit organization, Clasp Homes. His journey with Clasp began at the tender age of 22, driven by a profound desire to make a difference. Over the years, his dedication and hard work propelled him to the position of Director of Quality Assurance, leaving an enduring imprint on both the organization and the countless lives it touched.

Mike's legacy extends beyond his professional accomplishments; he was known for his generosity, quick wit, and ever-present smile. An avid traveler, Mike found solace and joy in exploring the beaches of Florida and California, where he could indulge in his love for the sea and live music, particularly classic rock. He also had a deep affection for animals, often finding companionship and solace in the company of his beloved pets throughout his life.

Mike is survived by his loving mother, Dorothy, and his cherished children: Ryan Saracin, Marlena Saracin (partner Blake Hitchcock), and Zach Saracin. He is also survived by his brothers, David Saracin and Daniel Saracin (wife Alisa), along with numerous other beloved family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Mike’s honor be made to Clasp Homes https://www.clasphomes.org/. Private services will be held by the family at a later date.
