Michael "Mikie" DeEll

Michael William DeEll, 37, of West Haven, beloved husband of Tara (Kesselschmidt) DeEll, passed away on June 10, 2019. He was born on December 10, 1981 in Milford, CT to William J. and Johnette (Wierzbicki) DeEll, Jr.  

Mike graduated Foran High School with the Class of 2000, where he had been the captain of the football team. He went on to graduate from the Baron Institute with trade skills in HVAC. Mike was a good-hearted man who could light up any room. He cherished his girls and will be greatly missed by all of those whose lives he touched.

In addition to his loving wife and parents, Mike is survived by his beautiful daughters, Hailey and Skylar DeEll; his siblings, William “Jamie” (Miran) DeEll III, Jeffrey (Janet) DeEll, and Amanda (Peter) Broccoli; his nieces and nephews, Caeden Broccoli, Justin, Jenna, Julia, Brody, and Trevor DeEll; his maternal grandmother, Elda Wierzbicki; his aunts and uncle, Alexis (Bob) Black, Marie Wierzbicki-Vaughn, Judy Green, and Sarah Wierzbicki; his dogs, Callie and Bentley; and his many cousins and extended family members. Mike was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, John Wierzbicki; paternal grandparents, William and Marguerite DeEll; his uncle, John Wierzbicki; and his two aunts.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Gabriel Church (Saint Raphael Parish), 26 Broadway, Milford, CT (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will be private. Family and friends may call on Sunday, June 16, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 N. Broad St., Milford, CT.
