Helene Hadelman Jackson

Helene Jackson died peacefully on Monday night, at home surrounded by all three of her children, after a long a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Helene was born on March 7th, 1944 in New Haven, CT – The oldest child of Leon and Anne Hadelman.  She grew up in West Haven before moving to Milford in her Junior year of High School. She was a proud graduate of the Milford High School class of 1962.  Her three (3) surviving children include Todd Jackson and his spouse Tami, Tracy Jackson Creller and her husband Craig; and Eric Jackson and his spouse Melissa, and many grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She worked at Schick for many years before spending more than 27 years with Bayer Pharmaceutical in West Haven.  During her retirement, she lived life to the fullest and spent a great deal of time with her grandchildren and much time travelling the world with the Golden Girls.

A Memorial Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Church, 71 River St., Milford, CT. Burial will follow at Kings Highway Cemetery, Columbarium Wall, 271 Cherry St., Milford, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Pancreas Foundation.
