Gregory T. Varga

Gregory Thomas Varga, 53, of Milford, passed away on January 21, 2022. Born on March 26, 1968 in Bridgeport, he was the son of Ann Varga and the late Steve Varga.  

Gregory loved three things in his life, his family, Darla and cars. His kids were first on his list. Everyone knows that Greg would do anything he can to make his kids happy and get them involved in whatever they wanted to do. His second love was his girlfriend whom he did everything with. Finally, his love for cars, he graduated from Platt Tech in '86 from the auto body shop. Ever since then, that is where you can find him. He had the only job we all knew him by, working at Wanye's Auto Body, a place where you could always find him. His days never stopped there, especially on those long Friday nights at Stafford Motor Speedway making sure the #10 Wayne's Auto Body car was perfect and ready. He took pride in every car he worked on, and he would work on anybody's car. You call him about your car, he would ask "what did you break now?" He wanted everyone safe in the cars he worked on. If you know Greg, you know his love for MOPAR, Dodge, Plymouth. Those are the cars he enjoyed the most and he was always the MOPAR guy. 

Along with his mom, Greg also leaves behind his beloved children, Dylan Varga and Katelynn Varga; brothers, Steven Varga, Gary Varga, and Alan Varga; nephews, Michael (Vanessa) Varga and Daniel (Jessica) Varga; great nephew, Rolan Varga, adoring partner, Darla Lenihan; and many great friends. He was predeceased by his father, Steve Varga; brother, Jeffrey Varga; sister-in-law, Sharon Varga.

Family and friends may gather on Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Katelynn or Dylan Varga's education fund. Checks may be made payable to cash and mailed to 109 Underhill Road, Milford, CT 06460.
