Deborah A. Warrek, 59, of Milford, beloved wife of Edward Warrek, passed away on December 29, 2020. Born on June 24, 1961 in Milford, she was the daughter of Joan Havick and the late Andrew Havick.
Deborah graduated Joseph A. Foran High School in 1979 before attending Sacred Heart University where she received her master’s in criminal justice. She had a successful career as a security manager for different companies over the past 30 years. In her free time, Deborah enjoyed going to the casinos, watching sports, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandson. Deborah was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother; family meant the world to her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Along with her husband, Deborah leaves behind her daughters, Amanda and Amy Warrek; grandson, Jaxson Gonzalez; sisters, Mary Jo Havick-Parente and Andrea (Anthony) Perce; nieces and nephews, Andrew Parente, Allyson (Ross) Brown, Morgan and Marisa Perce, Eli Smith, and Beau, Clay, Khol Warrek; siblings-in-law, Daniel Warrek, Harry (Deborah) Warrek, and Wendy Ann (Jeff) Smith; and many beloved friends who will miss her dearly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Saint Mary Church (Precious Blood Parish), 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT 06460 (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Due to gathering restrictions, only 100 people are allowed inside the church for services and masks are required. Interment will be private. Friends and family may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the Cody-White Funeral Home 107 Broad Street Milford, CT 06460. Only 25 people are allowed inside the building at a time and masks will be required. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation at www.bcrf.org.
