Deborah "Debbie" Combs

Deborah “Debbie” Jane Combs, 68, beloved wife of the late John P. Combs, passed away on February 15, 2020. Debbie was born on February 16, 1951 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Francis and Lorraine Rehill.

Debbie loved the beach, taking walks and the NY Yankees. Her wonderful cooking will be sorely missed. Debbie was a sweet and caring person who had a great love for her family and friends. Debbie was a dedicated preschool teacher who owned her own home day care for most of her career. Debbie’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staffs at Yale New Haven Hospital and Smilow Cancer Hospital for their kind and compassionate care.

Debbie leaves behind her daughter, Kelly A. Combs; sisters, Michele S. Harvey and Barbara A. Hobe; niece and nephews, Allison M. (Matt) Puzio, Dylan V. (Ryan Kate) Hobe and Ryan T. Hobe; great niece and nephews, Von C. Hobe and Vincent S., Francesca N. and Nicholas S. Puzio. In addition to her parents and husband, Debbie was predeceased by her nephew, Sean R. Harvey.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. with a Sharing of Memories to commence at 3 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.
