Danielle (Mahieu) Schmidheini

Danielle Schmidheini, 46, of Shelton, beloved wife of Louis Schmidheini, passed away peacefully at her home on July 9, 2019. Born on July 25, 1972 in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Andre and Rose (McMellon) Mahieu.   

Danielle’s life revolved around her children. She was a selfless mother and nothing brought her more joy than attending soccer games with her daughter, Emily and basketball games with her son, Anthony.

In addition to her loving husband, Lou, Danielle is survived by her cherished children, Anthony Schmidheini and Emily Schmidheini; her brothers, Jean-Paul “JP” Mahieu and his wife, Mary, Andre Mahieu, and Brent Mahieu and his wife, Allison; and her nieces and nephews, Alex, Amanda, Caelan, Braedan, Allan, Patrick, Grace, William and Jacob.

Friends and family may call from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, July 15, 2019 at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. that evening at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
