Barbara Ann Burrows

Barbara Ann Burrows, 79, of Milford, beloved wife of the late David Burrows, Sr., passed away peacefully on September 4, 2019. She was born on January 23, 1940 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Alexander and Anna (Toaso) Kovach.

Barbara was active at the Milford Senior Center; she sang in the Sr. Gospel Choir and participated in the middle school mentorship program. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. Barbara enjoyed gardening, reading, painting, knitting and embroidery but nothing brought her more joy than being with her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Her faith and her family were the most important things in her life. She will be greatly missed.

Barbara is survived by her children, Bonny Baldwin, David Burrows, Jr., Barbara and John, and April Burrows; her grandchildren, Monica Simpson, Michelle Baldwin, Tiffany Simpson, and Blake; and her brothers, Robert and Paul Kovach.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at First United Congregational Church of Christ, 34 West Main St., Milford, CT (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Burial will follow at King’s Highway Cemetery, 271 Cherry Street, Milford, CT. Family and friends may call on Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 N. Broad St., Milford, CT.
