Barbara K Albanese

Barbara K. Albanese, 89, of Milford beloved wife of the late Paul A. Albanese Sr., passed away on September 15, 2023. Born on December 4, 1933, in Milford, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late George & Mildred (Jennings) Knoth.

Barbara is a graduate of Milford High School, class of 1951. She is formerly a secretary with the City of Milford, Board of Education.  She was a member of the Milford High marching band, and an active participant in dance and synchronized swimming as well as an active member of the Myrtle Beach Methodist church.  She enjoyed time spent at the shore and the Walnut Beach boardwalk where she grew up.

Barbara is survived by her loving children, Paul A. (Maria) Albanese Jr., Terry R. Albanese, George T. (Michelle) Albanese. Barbara also leaves behind her loving grandchildren, Maria, Jordan, Melissa, Gabriel, Paul and Stephanie.  Barbara leaves behind her adored great-grandchildren Ava, Giovanni, Natalia and Vincent.  In addition, Barbara is survived by her brother George F. (Barbara) Knoth and many Nieces and Nephews.  Barbara is previously deceased by her son Daryl R. Albanese and her sister Mildred K. Angell.

A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday September 21 at 10:00 a.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD ST., MILFORD, CT.

Interment will follow at Kings Highway Cemetery, 271 Cherry Street, Milford, Connecticut.

Friends and family may call from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday September 20, 2023, at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD ST., MILFORD, CT.
