Sandra M. Sherwood, 76, of Beacon Falls, beloved wife of Stephen Sherwood, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2017. She was born on May 31, 1940, in Milford, to the late Peter and Margaret Gomery Hatrick. She put beauty into everything she created. Her family and friends will miss her dearly.

In addition to her devoted husband of 57 years, Sandra is survived by her children, Stephen, Jr., Jeffrey (Kimberly) and Curt Sherwood; grandchildren, Tristan, Austin, Blake and Damon Sherwood; six siblings; and many extended family and friends. Sandra was predeceased by seven siblings.

A Mass of Christian of Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Saint Joseph Church, 50 Fairmont Place, Shelton, CT 06484 (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Saint John the Baptist Cemetery, 500 Moose Hill Rd., Monroe, CT 06468. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The family is being compassionately cared for by the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St, Milford, CT.
